Single Mothers delivered their surprise EP Meltdown last year, and have been in the studio recording a follow-up to 2014's Negative Qualities. Today, the band shared two new tracks from the new album sessions, giving us "East Van Band Van" and "Night School."

A press release explains that the band's Drew Thomson penned the tracks after "watching his friends go through the coveted ritual of family, marriage, kids and excitement over earning the corner office." As he muses on "East Van Band Van," "Maybe we did die back in 1999."

Both tracks were produced by Wade MacNeil (Alexisonfire, Gallows, Black Lungs) at Jukasa Studios in Caledonia, ON.

Hear both tracks in the player below while we await more news on that new album, which is expected out later this year via Dine Alone.
