The album finds the group redoing deep cuts, underrated band favourites and more

Last year, Silverstein updated selections from their catalogue with re-recorded collection Redux: The First 10 Yearsand the Ontario group have now shared details of a second volume.

Redux II will arrive November 20 through the band's N.S.E.W. Recordings and brings together re-recorded versions of deep cuts, band favourites and "hidden gems" from across their career. Updates to these songs are said to range from "simple renovations to significant rearrangements and enhancements."

Vocalist Shane Told explained of the collection, "I will admit a couple of the songs on this album weren't my favourites when they were originally released. Maybe it was the mix, the performance, or the song itself, but for some reason they never quite spoke to me. We took on the challenge to find out exactly why they fell flat, and what we could do to find that original magic that existed when they were first written."

An updated version of "My Disaster," which initially appeared on 2007's Arrivals & Departures, can be heard below.

Silverstein released new album A Beautiful Place to Drown earlier this year through N.S.E.W. Recordings/UNFD. Read our interview with the band.
