Good news, fantasy nerds: not only are Icelandic post-rockers Sigur Rós appearing on the latest season of Game of Thrones, they're also contributing to the soundtrack by covering the song "The Rains of Castamere."

A digital version of the track will be released through WaterTower Music on April 13. It's available to pre-order now from Amazon [via Film Music Reporter], where the curious can hear a short snippet of the recording.

Versions of "The Rains of Castamere" have appeared several times on Game of Thrones over the years. A version by the National appeared on the show's season two soundtrack.

The Hold Steady have already previously contributed music to the show, while Will Champion of Coldplay and Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol made acting cameos.

The show even recently spawned a rap mixtape.
