Sigur Rós

"Seraph" (video)

Icelandic dream weavers Sigur Rós are continuing with their "Valtari Mystery Film Experiment," this time by releasing a clip entitled "Seraph."

Rather than functioning as a typical music video, this video includes clips of the Valtari cuts "Rembihnútur" and "Ekki múkk." It's an unsettling animated short film that shows a character's development from insecure youth into a self-harming adult who gets into a violent altercation while in prison.

The clip was helmed by Dash Shaw and John Cameron Mitchell, who you may remember from a little film called Hedwig and the Angry Inch. It's the ninth clip from the "Valtari Mystery Film Experiment." You can see all of the videos so far over at Sigur Rós' official website.
