That's it, folks — Sigur Rós' intriguing Valtari Mystery Film Experiment is over. In recent months, the series has given us a string of music videos from the album Valtari, and now it has concluded with a clip called "Leaning Towards Solace."
This, the 16th video in the project, was directed by Floria Sigismondi and stars Elle Fanning and John Hawkes. The 12-minute clip, which is more of a short film than a music video, features the tracks "Dauðalogn" and "Varúð" and complements these reverent songs with slow-motion images, spoken word voice-overs and ballet dancing. We won't spoil the ending for you, but we're going to warn you that it gets a little weird.
The Valtari Mystery Film Experiment will be screening in cinemas this month. See the schedule here.
