SIANspheric Return with First New Release in Nearly a Decade

Following the release of 2005's DVD/CD RGB and their I Wouldn't Expect You to Understand 7-inch the next year, Hamilton, ON shoegazers SIANspheric hung up their guitars for a lengthy hiatus, steering clear of any new releases the last several years. At long last, they're coming out of hibernation with a planned new 7-inch release.

The record features two brand new songs culled from the last five years of recording. As a press release puts it, A-side "The Owl" is a "psychedelic trip through a delayed haze," while the record's "Smokin' Richie" is a "tender and whispered explosion."

Both songs will be available on an extremely limited 7-inch release from Noyes Records as part of its ongoing Singles Series. The record will be limited to 300 copies, with 100 on blue vinyl and 200 on black.

"The Owl" / "Smokin' Richie" will be available on May 13.
