We recently announced that rapper Shad was heading out on a mini-tour through Quebec and Ontario this April. Well, it turns out, things have got just a little more epic, as Canada's wittiest word-wielder will now be travelling all across the Great White North on a Scion-presented tour. In honour of such an occasion -- as well as Exclaim!'s 19th anniversary -- we've teamed up with Scion to offer fans the chance to score free tickets to see Shad in their hometown.
The first leg of the tour will kick off in Montreal on April 1 and work its way west through Ontario's major cities. Supporting Shad will be Toronto, ON synth-funk outfit Keys N Krates, who will join the tour for the dates leading up to and including his April 10 performance in St. Catharines, ON.
On May 2, the tour's second leg will begin in Regina and wrap up in Vancouver. The western tour dates will feature Montreal electro-psych pop whiz Miracle Fortress as the opening act. More details surrounding Shad's final two dates, in Toronto and Halifax, respectively, are forthcoming.
