Shad Shares "The Stone Throwers (Gone In a Blink)"

A month out from releasing his A Short Story About a War LP, Shad has now shared the album's third single.

Titled "The Stone Throwers (Gone In a Blink)," the latest album cut finds Shad taking on the role of another character in the album's concept, lending lyrics to those who are "vilified by all sides, vilified for small crimes, forced to go blow for blow in a war zone with only stones to throw."

"The powerless in our world are often forced to resort to especially ugly kinds of violence for which they are vilified, while the powerful actually do much more harm to people and the planet with the more sophisticated 'weapons' of money and influence," Shad explained in a statement of the aforementioned metaphor.

Shad previously shared the Kaytranada-produced "The Fool Pt 3 (Frame Of Mind)."

A Short Story About a War arrives October 26 via Secret City Records. Shad will also hit the road on tour in November. You can find his upcoming dates over here.
