Seal's Sexual Battery Case Thrown Out

BY Josiah HughesPublished Feb 12, 2018

Last month, Seal found himself in the wrong kind of spotlight when his former neighbour accused him of sexual battery. It looks as if the singer will not face legal repercussions, however, as the Los Angeles district attorney has thrown out the case.

According to TMZ, the L.A. County District Attorney's Office has officially rejected the case due to a lack of witnesses and evidence. Further, the alleged incident took place in February 2016, meaning the statute of limitations has expired.

In her initial claim, Tracey Birdsall said that Seal forcibly kissed and groped her without her consent when she returned a salad spinner to his home in 2016.

Seal vehemently denied the allegations.
