Savages

New Album Trailer

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 19, 2015

UK post-punks Savages followed up their 2013 debut album Silence Yourself with a 12-inch titled Fuckers and a 37-minute-long single called Words to the Blind, but now the band are hinting at a proper full-length follow-up.

The four-piece have unveiled a new trailer that features footage from their live residency in New York earlier this year, as well as a snippet of new audio material. Atop the sights and sounds of Savages, punk icon Henry Rollins reads from Phyllis Rose's Jazz Cleopatra: Josephine Baker in her time.

The closing shot reveals the band's plans to drop a new album in 2016. While we await further details of the upcoming release, give the trailer a watch in the player below.
