Now in its seventh year, the annual SappyFest is a guaranteed summer highlight for Canadian East Coast music fans. Now, the organizers have announced some of the details of the 2012 instalment, including a few of the performers that will play between August 3 and 5 in Sackville, NB.
The first five acts confirmed for this year are: Yamantaka//Sonic Titan, Oneida, Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra, Mike O'Neill and Josephine Foster. Perhaps, seeing as they've already roped in Mike O'Neill, they'll be able to convince his band the Inbreds to add SappyFest to their schedule of reunion shows?
Passes for the full event cost $100 plus tax and service charges and can be purchased right here. Please note that they're all 19-plus. Individual day passes will be unveiled later in the spring.
