If you watched the season premiere of CBC's Hockey Night in Canada yesterday (October 1), then you might have noticed that the broadcast included a new song from Canadian rock staples Sam Roberts Band. That track has now been released as a single ahead of the outfit's new album.
The song is called "We're All in This Together." You can hear an abridged version of the brightly upbeat, riff-driven number as the soundtrack for a hockey montage over at CBC. The full version of the song is available to purchase from iTunes.
This track will appear on Sam Roberts Band's next album, Lo-Fantasy, which is due out in early 2014 through Universal Music Canada. We currently don't know much about the collection, but that's the album cover above. A 30-second teaser video, featuring "We're All in This Together," is available to stream below.
Lo-Fantasy will be the follow-up to 2011's Collider.
