Though Canada Day will be celebrated a little differently this year, a host of talent from across the country will come together to mark the occasion with a new digital festival on July 1.

The virtual Canada Day House Party will feature performances from Sam Roberts Band, Cadence Weapon & Skratch Bastid, Dean Brody, Dear Rouge, the Tragically Hip's Gord Sinclair, RiitCaveboy, Myles Castello, William Prince, BonjayLOONY, Garçons, Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, the Trews, and more to be announced.

Set to kick off July 1 at 3 p.m. ET, the interactive six-hour House Party will feature portions of the virtual show broadcast live from Paris, ON, and promises "contests, giveaways, recipes, games and much more" for Canadians celebrating at home.

"The past few months have been incredibly challenging for a lot of Canadians, and we wanted to give everyone an opportunity to come together as a country and have some fun," FRC Marketing CEO Kevin Goodman said in a statement. "The Canada Day House Party will do just that. This is about bringing everything Canadians love about music festivals onto one digital platform that we can all enjoy for a good cause, while staying safe at home."

Leading up to and throughout the event, viewers will be able to make donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) online and/or through text-to-donate, to support important mental health programs and services in local communities across Canada.

"The Canadian Mental Health Association is on the ground in 330 communities, helping those who are struggling with their mental health through these tough times," CMHA CEO Margaret Eaton added. "As we stay home on July 1, the Canada Day House Party will bring us together to remind us that we are all here to support each other and that we belong. We could all use a little more joy and togetherness!"

Complete event and scheduling information can be found through Canada Day House Party's official website, with further updates available through Instagram and Facebook.
