Earlier this week, we learned that Cornelius had taken over soundtracking duties for the new anime series Ghost in the Shell: Arise. At the time, the Japanese soundsculptor shared the opening theme from the series on his newly launched website, which now is also hosting the closing track from frequent collaborator salyu x salyu.
The track is called "Border:1 Ending Theme" and comes via a new black and white video featuring multiple images of Salyu multiplying faster than Gremlins as she strikes a series of off-kilter poses. The track itself, which features lyrics from former Yura Yura Teikoku frontman Shintaro Sakamoto, is marked by Cornelius's quirky and unique production style, showing that the soundtrack to Ghost in the Shell: Arise is definitely going to be one to look forward to.
