Just a few months after releasing the new album Dandelion, Vancouver pop-rock mainstays Said the Whale have shared a new single, "Return to Me."
The song continues the ornate sound of Dandelion but with an even more grandiose, pop-friendly bent. Opening with a fanfare of horns, the song swells to a towering pop crescendo of wordless hooks and lovestruck lyrics.
The song will be included in an upcoming deluxe edition of Dandelion, due out on February 11 through Everything Forever. The deluxe album will include the previously released Illuminati Hotties remix of STW's single "Honey Lungs," plus alternate versions of the songs "Honey Lungs," "Show Me Everything" and of "99 to the Moon."
