If you had any doubts that S U R V I V E's Michael Stein and Kyle Dixon would return for the upcoming second season of Stranger Things, rest easy. The pair have confirmed they are indeed onboard for the show's return.

Speaking to The Vinyl Factory, Stein and Dixon revealed that they are currently working on the synth-fuelled soundscapes that will soundtrack Season 2 of the hit Netflix series. And this time, we can apparently get ready for more weird.

"We are working on it. It should be interesting," Dixon said. "I think they've already come out and said that things are going to be a bit darker and weirder. We've yet to really see what that looks like."

And while Dixon did add that "we'll probably stick with a pretty similar thing," he also pointed out that some recently acquired gear would likely have an impact on their resulting score.

"I mean, it's always kind of hard to tell what's going to work until you get in there," he said. "Hopefully, it's a bit weirder this time. I'm sure it will be weirder, because I think they are going to spend a little more time in the Upside Down this season."

It will be some time before we get to hear the soundtrack to Stranger Things Season 2, though. After all, it doesn't return to Netflix until October 31.
