Ryan Hemsworth Shares 43-Minute Mix in Support of Protestor Bail Funds and Black Lives Matter
All proceeds from 'Defend + Defund' will go to charity
Published Jun 07, 2020Nova Scotian producer Ryan Hemsworth has shared a brand new mix titled Defend + Defund in support of Black Lives Matter and protestor bail funds following global insurgences against police brutality and racism.
The 43-minute mix comprises "100% unreleased" material and can be purchased via the artist's Bandcamp.
In addition to the release, Hemsworth has also shared his advocacy for defunding the police in the wake of ongoing violent and senseless civilian deaths. All proceeds from "Defend + Defund" will be split between "70+ community bail funds, mutual aid funds, and racial justice organizers," including Black Lives Matter.
Earlier this year, the Canadian producer shared two new tracks, "New Life" and "Sun Up." His most recent full-length release was 2018's Elsewhere.
