Twin Shadow recently helped out a former member of his live band by producing a couple of cuts for Rush Midnight's new EP, +1. Now, one of those songs, "Crush," has gotten its own music video.
George Lewis Jr.'s influence is over this track, since it sounds a hell of a lot like Twin Shadow's own sparkly, electro-tinged pop tunes. The accompanying video is appropriately fun, as it shows a dance troupe of young men showing off their moves on the subway and collecting tips from the commuters, most of whom are either impressed or attempt to ignore the goings-on by staring at their phones.
The +1 EP is out now through Cascine.
