Rural Alberta Advantage Skip Alberta, Hit Up Ontario and Quebec on Winter Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Oct 27, 2009

It's been a banner year for Toronto-based indie folk trio the Rural Alberta Advantage. Besides releasing their beloved debut Hometowns after a sea of hype, the band signed with Saddle Creek in the U.S. and toured North America endlessly. Nonetheless, the band refuse to call it quits on 2009, instead opting to end the year with another tour.

And while Alberta residents would sure love to see the RAA visit their name-sake a little more often, the band will instead be focusing on their current digs, spending November playing shows in Ontario and Quebec. From there, they'll head south for a U.S. tour with Shaky Hands.
