Plenty of musicians and artists have spoken out following Donald Trump's United States presidential election victory earlier this week. In response to Trump and running mate Mike Pence's controversial views on reproductive rights and women's health organization Planned Parenthood, indie label Run for Cover Records has pledged to donate money from digital record sales in support.
Today (November 10), the Boston-based label announced that its entire digital catalogue will be available for "pay what you want" through Sunday (November 13). All the proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit healthcare service, with the label further matching the donations up to $5,000.
Run for Cover's digital catalogue includes releases from Title Fight, Modern Baseball, Tigers Jaw, Pity Sex, Citizen, Creative Adult, Whirr, Young Statues, Weekend Nachos, Elvis Depressedly, Turnover, Pinegrove and more. You can scroll through the available releases here.
In addition to the label's action, Pinegrove have also pledged to donate 100 percent of their Bandcamp profits to Planned Parenthood.
