It's only been a matter of days since the Rosebuds released a full-album cover of Sade's Love Deluxe, and now the indie-pop group have unveiled another stop-gap album in the form of the holiday collection Christmas Tree Island.
The 13 songs included here were all penned by the Rosebuds, meaning that you won't hear any covers of old Christmas classics.
An announcement from the band explains, "In this collection of all new, original songs, the Rosebuds explore some classic holiday themes, and try to find that natural nostalgia for a time of year that, though weighty with stressful situations, is a time to give ourselves permission to remember kinship and togetherness the way it makes sense for each of us. The nostalgia in these songs, then, is for once relatable."
