Romeo Santos

"Odio" (ft. Drake)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jan 27, 2014

As a general rule, it's never a bad thing to throw some more Drake onto your track, and that's just what Spanish-singing solo artist Romeo Santos has done on his smooth new single, "Odio."

The Bachata-informed jam simmers up front with plinking guitars, conga drum whaps and Santos's soft MJ-styled falsetto, but if you're looking for the instant Drizzy fix, the rapper offers up some Spanish-sung lines of his own, as well as another set of girl-minded bars.

Topics he covers in his guest spot include making up with an ex, giving her babies and big ol' house to live in, and the grim reality that he has another dude to usher out of the picture before he can put that plan into action.

You'll hear Santos's sensual, guest-equipped heart-tugger down below. The track will appear on his forthcoming Formula, Vol. 2 LP, which is due February 25 and will also feature appearances from Nicki Minaj, Marc Anthony, Carlos Santana, Tego Calderón, and comedian Kevin Hart.
