RJD2 Announces Debut Album from Icebird Project

Following the release of The Colossus last year, veteran Philadelphia producer RJD2 has teamed up with vocalist Aaron Livingston to form a new group called Icebird. The duo are set to release their debut album The Abandoned Lullaby this fall, and according to a press release, they embody "the psychedelic soul for which the Philly music scene has long been known."

In a statement, RJD2 explains, "It is truly a best-of-both-worlds collaboration. More than as a player, singer, or engineer, production is my strongest suit. And Aaron is truly one of the most unique, clever, and gifted singers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The two elements complement each other perfectly."

The Abandoned Lullaby will be available on October 11 via RJ's own Electrical Connections imprint.
