Sure, it's fun to pretend that new Weezer is bad, but last month the band dropped a genuinely good new album with OK Human. You may as well get on board, because there are at least six more projects in the works.

Of course, we already know that the band are releasing their long-awaited Van Weezer album in May. But there's also a four-album cycle in the works that will be tied to the four seasons of the year.

In an interview with The Forty-Five, Weez frontman Rivers Cuomo explained that the album cycle is called Weezer Seasons and will have albums called SpringSummer, Fall and Winter. Each album will include eight songs.

Apparently the Spring album is set to drop on the first day of spring this year, which is March 20.

As if that weren't enough, Cuomo added that he's working on a musical called Buddha Superstar. It will be a film, and it's being produced by someone who was attached to Green Day's American Idiot Broadway show.

"It's something I've always wanted to do, and I can't believe it's taken me this long," Cuomo said. "I think I just needed somebody else to come along and really encourage me."
