Ontario's River & Sky Music/Camping Festival is set to return to the banks of the Sturgeon River for its ninth annual edition this summer, and organizers have unveiled the first wave of headliners.

This year, the event will take place from July 20 to 23 on the grounds of Fishers' Paradise (between Sudbury and North Bay), and topping the bill are Wintersleep, PUP, Timber Timbre and Weaves.

A press release reveals that organizers will release the rest of the "40 or so acts" who will play the festival in early May.

"I'd like to thank all those who bought passes even before this line-up release for supporting the festival. Also, a shout out to the more than 270 bands who have applied to play. We love hearing from you — keep it up," festival director Peter Zwarich said in a statement. "We're proud to book Wintersleep, Timber Timbre, PUP and Weaves and we'll have more bands to tell you about throughout the month of April."

Plenty of ticketing options are available, with four-day advance passes available for $185 and three-day passes available for $140. Single day and single night passes are also available, and vary in price based on day.

Further festival and ticketing information can be found through River and Sky's official website.
