Right Said Fred Are Mad at the Vancouver Airport over Separate Vaccination Lines
YVR now has lines for vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers
Published Jul 26, 2021Right Said Fred used to be too sexy for their shirt, but now they're too sexy for vaccines, masks or science. The musicians turned anti-vaxxers spend all day every day tweeting out COVID-19 misinformation, and they've now turned their ire towards Canada — specifically at the Vancouver airport's separate lines for vaccinated and unvaccinated international travellers.
On Thursday (July 22), the group posted a photo of YVR's separate lines alongside the confusing caption, "Canada. Has the penny dropped yet." It's not entirely clear what that idiom is supposed to mean in this context, but their use of an angry emoji made it clear that they aren't happy.

Meanwhile, the rise in vaccinations in Canada has correlated directly with a decrease in coronavirus infections, hospitalizations and deaths.
Toronto Pearson International Airport also has separate lines for vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers arriving from international destinations, according to the Toronto Sun.
