Return of the Wu: RZA and Raekwon Reportedly Make Peace, Get Back to Work on 'A Better Tomorrow'

In recent months, we've heard repeated updates about Wu-Tang Clan's planned album A Better Tomorrow, with RZA accusing Raekwon of being absent for the sessions and Rae firing back with some harsh retorts. Now, it seems that the clashing rappers have made peace and work is once again underway on the new album.

The group's official blog has been updated with a succinct tidbit that reads, "Breaking news : Raekwon and Rza truce : Raekwon scheduled to hit studio to complete verses for album : A Better Tomorrow Details coming!"

This comes as a surprise since, less than a month ago, Raekwon was quoted as declaring himself "on strike." He had lots of harsh words for RZA, telling him "It's time for a new fucking game plan," and calling him a liar for claiming that the two hadn't spoken recently. At the time, he estimated his chances of appearing on A Better Tomorrow at two out of 10.

RZA has even suggested that the album might not be finished at all.

Meanwhile, Wu-Tang Clan have another album called Once Upon a TIme in Shaolin coming out, although it will be available in an edition of just one.
