Redlevel Terrorism

We Kill Rock Stars

Theoretically, it's always nice to help out the independent bands. This disc is a good example of why it is hard to embrace Canadian indie music. 28 minutes of techno beats played fast, with unintelligible vocals layered over it, apparently with no rhyme or reason a lot of the time and offensive Fisher Price kid guitar noises, set on loop, for continual audio annoyance. Almost impressive in its extremity, but at the same time totally not. Seems to have some cool lyrics, but it's hard to tell and doesn't seem worth the effort. What a headache. Features this obscene tip in the liner notes: "If a man falls, and he's your enemy, you should kick him in the face."
