Ra Ra Riot Team Up with Arts & Crafts for <i>The Orchard</i>'s Canadian Release, Prep Massive North American Tour
Indie pop cuties Ra Ra Riot are set to release their sophomore album, The Orchard, on August 24 in the United States, and now in Canada as well. Following the news that Barsuk Records will handle the American release, Arts & Crafts has announced that the label will step in to take care of business north of the border.

In the meantime, the Syracuse, NY-based quintet have been touring furiously around the world. They're currently in Japan and will begin a four-month North American tour at Montreal's Osheaga Festival on August 1. Other Canadian dates include Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg.

The Orchard will arrive almost two years to the day after Ra Ra Riot's 2008 debut, The Rhumb Line. It also comes three years after the tragic death of 23-year-old drummer John Pike, and features the first studio recordings by new drummer Gabriel Duquette, who has toured with the band since 2008.

You can download first new album single "Boy" from the band's website.
