R. Kelly Announces Love Letter Cruise

If you thought that upcoming, guest-heavy Weezer cruise was going to be a wild time, hold on to your hats, because totally bonkers R&B singer R. Kelly has announced a ocean-bound party of his own.

Kells tweeted news of the trip last night (December 13), announcing, "Come aboard and join me as I sail away on my first annual Love Letter Cruise."

The cruise, which takes off from Miami on October 1 and heads to a handful of Caribbean stops before making its way back to Florida on October 5, is seemingly based around the singer's most recent album, the classy, '60s R&B-styled Love Letter. That said, while his performance on the Destiny cruise liner may be slanted towards his latest jams, the rest of the trip is stacked with Kells-related activity.

"Work up a sweat at the 'Stepping Class.' Sign up for the '12 Play' Basketball Game. Pamper yourself with a massage, and select from more than 20 various games and activities on board, along with special guest artists," reads a statement on the cruise's website. While the site gives details on fitness rooms and meal plans, it's unclear who you'll be trapped in the closet with in your private cabins, or whether you'll be able to take a tour of the vessel's, uh, chocolate factory.

You can get the details on the sliding scale payment plan over here. Early bird rates run until Saturday (December 17).
