R. Kelly Accused of Sexual Misconduct by Two More Women

Two more women have come forward to accuse R. Kelly of sexual misconduct, dating back two decades to when both alleged victims were minors.

As the New York Times reports, Latresa Scaff and Rochelle Washington attended an R. Kelly concert in 1995 or 1996 in Baltimore. The girls — 16 and 15 at the time, respectively — attended a ticketed after-party at a local club, where Kelly allegedly pointed them out in the crowd and told his security guards to bring them onstage.

The women said they were plied with drugs and alcohol, before Kelly's team paid for a taxi to bring them back to his hotel room.

Scaff and Washington told the Times that they were so excited about meeting Kelly that they called a local radio station and told the hosts and audience that they were with him.

The women said that when Kelly eventually arrived at the room, his penis was exposed and he asked them to dance with him. He then allegedly proposed a threesome, but Washington (who was 15 at the time) declined and went into the bathroom.

Scaff (who was 16 at the time) said she performed oral sex and had intercourse with Kelly, reiterating that she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

Both women are currently represented by lawyer Gloria Allred and have recounted their stories to the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York. Allred told the Times she believes the department is investigating Kelly, though a rep for the office did not confirm that.

Kelly is currently under investigation in the states of Illinois and Georgia, where he owned homes and has been accused of running a sex cult. He has been accused of sexual abuse by multiple women, many of whom recently appeared in the Lifetime documentary series Surviving R. Kelly.

As previously reported, Kelly was dropped by his record label following the release of the doc. Last year, his music was removed from Spotify under their Hateful Conduct Policy.

Kelly has not commented on the most recent allegations, though he has denied all previous ones.
