Pussy Riot to Appear in 'House of Cards'

While the real-life political turmoil of Pussy Riot members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina continues, most recently with the announcement that they're suing Russia's government, the two women will also take part in some political turmoil. After all, reports are swirling that the two will appear on the third season of Netflix's House of Cards.

The melodramatic White House drama is currently shooting in Baltimore. It was there that the City Paper (who also cobbled together that wonderful photo illustration above) first reported that Tolokonnikova and Alyokhina were spotted on set.

On the condition of maintaining their anonymity, a member of the show's production staff admitted that the two were on set for the show, and that they will appear on the show's third season.

It's unclear whether Tolokonnikova and Alyokhina will play themselves or other characters. Either way, they should be careful when that dastardly Frank Underwood is around.

House of Cards will return to Netflix in February.
