Pulling Teeth Team Up with Thor for Live LP

Baltimore metal crew Pulling Teeth accumulated an impressive back catalogue before playing their hometown farewell show this past weekend. A few years ago, though, they gladly put their own material aside for a night to team up with renowned Canadian metal goofball Thor in concert. The January 2010 performance found the musicians reliving the triumphant warrior rocker's glory days, but if you happened to miss the Maryland-area gig, you can now experience the whole thing on a limited-edition live LP.

A389 Recordings has pressed 200 copies of the in-concert collaborative effort, dubbed Thor's Teeth, but according to a press release, they sold 100 of these at the label's eighth anniversary show at Baltimore's Sonar last weekend. Out-of-town fans can get a chance to grab the wax platter tomorrow (January 27) when the imprint puts the remaining copies up for sale through their website. Once they're gone, a digital release will be prepped by Vulcan Sky/Smog Veil Records.

The set was recorded by Kevin Bernsten and found the crew running through 11 Thor classics. You can stream their take on "Thunder on the Tundra" down below. The skull-heavy artwork, which you can see above, was done by Integrity frontman Dwid Hellion.
