Well, here's your last long weekend of the summer. While you're no doubt making the best of it, come check out our weekly news roundup, where you can play catch-up on any stories you may have missed this week.

First off, Winnipeg punkers Propagandhi dominated the Exclaim! site this week, not only sharing a stream of their new Failed States album, but telling us all about it in a new interview. In a less positive note, though, we found out late this week that Grimes had her gear stolen in the UK. So far, however, her tour schedule seems to be unaffected.

Also in Canadian news, we had Blue Rodeo announcing a huge box set, while Yamantaka // Sonic Titan revealed that they have a new rock opera to premiere at Pop Montreal.

Then, for a bit of heavy, Isis detailed their new rarities collection, Deftones returned with a new album and tour, Converge revealed all the info for their upcoming All We Love We Leave Behind, and the Baroness dudes finally got out of the hospital following that mighty-scary bus crash.

Finally, once again a DOOM impostor preyed on a UK gig, while much-loved '90s shoegazers Slowdive unveiled that they're open to a reunion.
