Later this month, Prince will deliver a pair of new albums — his solo effort Art Official Age and Plectrumelectrum with his band 3rd Eye Girl. Today, he's teased both with a pair of new tracks.
"U Know," which appears on Art Official Age, offers up some slapping snares and some sleek R&B that's unmistakably Prince. The 3rd Eye Girl effort "WHITECAPS" is a slow-burning ballad complete with lush guitar work and multipart harmonies. Both songs suggest we're in for some incredibly well-made Prince work later this month.
