Calgary musical mainstay Kevin Stebner continues to grind out work with his many projects. Following the recent Chillebration album from his chiptune project Greyscreen, the artist is back to being aggro with his post-hardcore project Prepared. The group have, er, prepared a new split tape with likeminded Toronto/Windsor act No Hands, which is Exclaim! is proud to premiere today.
The release opens with a pair of gruff post-hardcore rockers from Prepared, and doesn't let up when it gets to No Hands' equally abrasive mid-tempo jam, which manages to wring the most out of its 4:46 runtime.
