Poster for Kanye West's 'Yeezus' Film Emerges Online, Reveals Bret Easton Ellis Involvement

BY Brock ThiessenPublished May 1, 2014

Earlier this year, we learned that Kanye West would be celebrating his 2013 album Yeezus with a new film. At the time, it was revealed that Hype Williams would direct the picture, which would be documenting Kanye's lavish tour in support of his album. Now we've got a few more details thanks to the film poster popping up online.

You can feast your eyes on the poster above. It was posted on Instagram by Milk Studios creative director Mazdack Rass.

As you'll see, the movie was written by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis, who has recently collaborated with Kanye on a few projects. The film was also produced by Kanye's company DONDA, in association with Milk. Obviously, the music for the film was penned by Yeezus himself.

There's still no firm word on when the film is headed our way exactly, but it is supposed to have a theatrical run sometime in the near future. For now, you can revisit the film trailer below.

UPDATE: A rep from Roc Nation has told Pitchfork that the poster is actually not legit.
