Pornhub Offers to Save Vine: "Six Seconds Is More Than Enough"

BY Josiah HughesPublished Oct 28, 2016

Yesterday, the world spent the day on a repetitive six-second loop of mourning thanks to the news that Twitter is shutting down Vine. Now, however, the social media network might have found a particularly sexy saviour.

The horndogs at Pornhub are trying to ensure that Vine will not go gently into that good night. According to CNET, the company reached out to Twitter CEO and offered to save the service.

"We figure since Twitter has dropped (Vine) and is having significant layoffs, that you and your stakeholders could benefit from a cash infusion from the sale of Vine," the company wrote. "Not to mention we would be saving Vine gems like 'Damn Daniel,' 'Awkward Puppets' and many more."

Further, the site promised that they'd restore Vine to "its NSFW glory," adding that "porn in six seconds is more than enough time for most people to enjoy themselves."

Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
