Post-hardcore popsters Polar Bear Club last left us with their Exclaim!-approved Clash Battle Guilt Pride, and the troupe will show off their hooks in a new light when they dial down the distortion on their upcoming Live at the Montage LP.
The set arrives July 31 through Bridge 9 shortly before the label's other unplugged offering from Strike Anywhere. A tracklisting has yet to be delivered for the Polar Bear Club release, but the nine-song set was captured at hometown venue the Montage Music Hall in Rochester, NY, last July.
Recorded and engineered by Jay Maas of Getaway Recordings (Defeater, Bane, Cruel Hand), the collection gathers softer interpretations of tracks from Sometimes Things Just Disappear, Chasing Hamburg and Clash Battle Guilt Pride.
In addition to the upcoming acoustic LP, the band will hit the road this summer with amps running full tilt as part of the Warped Tour. The trek will see them hitting up the festival's Canadian stops in Toronto and Montreal. You can check the details down below.
