A Place to Bury Strangers and the Joy Formidable Team Up for North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jan 10, 2012

English altpop outfit the Joy Formidable made waves last year when they released their debut LP The Big Roar, but in case you missed out on the early buzz, the act will head back across the pond this March for another North American tour. This time around, though, they'll be joined by noisy New York trio A Place to Bury Strangers.

The bands kicks things off on the West Coast for a two-night stand at San Francisco's the Independent, but the mostly-U.S. tour will be capped by a couple of Canadian dates. First up on this side of the border is a set at Montreal's Cabaret Mile-End on March 31, while the trip closer takes place April 2 at Toronto's Lee's Palace. Also joining the Joy Formidable and A Place to Bury Strangers on most dates are Brooklyn-based duo Exitmusic. You can check the rest of the details below.

In other A Place To Bury Strangers news, the band is set to release their new Dead Oceans debut Onwards to the Wall on February 7, so they're sure to play a few numbers from the EP at these upcoming gigs.
