Phoenix Announce North American Dates

BY Cam LindsayPublished Apr 15, 2009

Though it's still more than a month away until Phoenix release their fourth studio album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix (via Glassnote), the Parisian pop purveyors have been hard to miss recently.

Earlier this month they appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, alongside host Seth Rogen, proving that not every band have to sound like shit or limit their set to two songs. They've also been lighting up the blogs by giving away the album's first single, "1901," releasing a Kitsune Tabloid mix and having a fan mash up a bunch of '80s rom-coms for an unofficial video of new single "Lisztomania" (see below).

Well, now they've announced a two-week North American tour that includes two Canadian dates: Toronto on June 15 and Montreal the following night.

6/12 Manchester, TN - Bonnaroo
6/13 Chicago, IL - Park West
6/15 Toronto, ON - Phoenix Concert Theater
6/16 Montreal, QC - Les Saints
6/17 Boston, MA - Paradise Rock Club
6/19 New York, NY - Terminal 5
6/21 Washington, DC - Rock and Roll Hotel
6/23 Minneapolis, MN - Varsity
6/25 Denver, CO - Bluebird
6/27 San Francisco, CA - Regency Center, Grand Ballroom
6/28 Los Angeles, CA - Wiltern
