As previously reported, French indie rockers Phoenix are the subject of a new TV documentary entitled From a Mess to the Masses that aired in France and Germany last week. Originally broadcast on Arte network, the 52-minute film can now be viewed in its entirety online.
The piece was directed by Antoine Wagner, who was the creative force behind the band's video for "Lisztomania." The film's title is taken from the lyrics of the same song.
Featuring live footage and behind the scenes clips, the doc is a must-see for any Phoenix fan. It documents the Versailles band from their modest beginnings to the phenomenal couple years spawned by the release of 2009's massive Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
