Petitioners Want Fetty Wap to Perform "Trap Queen" at Nancy Reagan's Funeral

Fetty Wap's incredibly popular "Trap Queen" was one of the most ubiquitous singles of 2015, and an online petition is hoping to have the song appear in another unlikely place: Nancy Reagan's funeral.

A change.org petition has been started to get the New Jersey rapper to perform his hit at the former first lady's funeral, citing her as the holder of the "important legacy as being the most famous Trap Queen in American history," as well as the one who was "married to the money and introduced America to the stove." As of publication time, the petition has 152 signatures and counting.

"While her husband, Ronald Reagan, was linking up with Papi to flood the streets with narcotics, Nancy was on TV telling kids to 'Say No To Drugs,'" the petition reads. "Her infamous 'anti-drug' phrase encouraged strict laws on drug possession that led to a school-to-prison pipeline we're still dealing with now. It was an incredible sleight of hand that would make any wannabe Trap Queen hide in shame for her inability to be as diabolical as Nancy."

Take a read through the petition and sign your name if so inclined here. Thanks to Complex for the tip.
