Published Oct 11, 2018Weezer recently shared a soundtrack cut and a couple of Toto covers, but now they've given us the first preview of their next studio LP — The Black Album, which is currently slated to arrive in 2019 via Crush Music/Atlantic Records.
First single "Can't Knock the Hustle" has arrived, confirming that the upcoming album is (thankfully) not a cover of JAY-Z's 2003 record of the same name.
There are some famous names attached to the project, though, with TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek producing the lead single. Its accompanying video, meanwhile, was produced by @fuckjerry's Jerry Media and stars Fall Out Boy boy Pete Wentz as a hired driver for a couple that doesn't shy away from PDA.

If that's not enough excitement, Weezer have also revealed plans to extend their joint summer tour with Pixies. Both bands will reteam for a run of shows early next year.
The tour kicks off in Louisville on March 8 and will make a couple of Canadian stops in Montreal on March 13 and in Vancouver on April 7. The joint shows will wrap up in Las Vegas on April 12. See the full list of tour dates below.
