It seems like every other day that we get some exciting news from the Pearl Jam camp, and today is no exception. The veteran rockers are gearing up to release a career-spanning book entitled Pearl Jam Twenty, which documents their two-decade career. Now, we've learned that it will feature input from some big names.

NME reports that Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Dave Grohl were all interviewed for the tome. Each of the musicians has had run-ins with Pearl Jam before: Grohl has previously appeared on stage with the grunge legends, while singer Eddie Vedder has performed with the Springsteen and the E Street Band. Then, of course, Young famously recorded his Mirror Ball album, as well as other tracks, with Pearl Jam.

The book has previously been described as "an aesthetically stunning, definitive chronicle of the band's past two decades." It was largely written by authors Jonathan Cohen and Mark Wilkinson, and contains a forward written by Cameron Crowe, who also directed the upcoming documentary about the band. See a teaser for that film below.

As you may know, Vedder released his solo album Ukulele Songs yesterday (May 31), and Pearl Jam will tour across Canada this fall.
