After a gauntlet-throwing DJ turn by Stones Throw rookie James Pants, label head extraordinaire Peanut Butter Wolf had to at least hold his own at showcase with his name heading the bill. Of course, with the crowd treating him like the hometown favourite, it was pretty easy to impress, and PBW gave the people what they wanted, kicking things off with the theme from A Clockwork Orange before running through classic hip-hop, rare groove gems, and even some Rick James. It was a decidedly functional set that served its place amongst the nights stacked line-up of DJs.
