Things have taken a bad turn for PARTYNEXTDOOR, as the Toronto musician has just been arrested for drug possession while trying to cross into the U.S.

As WIVB reports, PARTYNEXTDOOR (a.k.a. Jahron Brathwaite) and friend Jerome Nevins were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge border crossing on Thursday (October 5).

State troopers were reportedly called in by the U.S. Customs and Border personnel to arrest the pair of 24-year-olds, who were found in the possession of Xanax and Oxycodone. Brathwaite and Nevins were busted after the bus they were riding on was pulled in for secondary inspection while entering the U.S.

The pair was ordered to return to the Town of Lewiston Court to face the charges.

Just the other week PARTYNEXTDOOR released his Seven Days EP. As previously reported, he's also on Halsey's North American tour. As of press time, however, it's unclear if any of the dates on the tour will be affected by his arrest. You can see the dates for the trek here.
