As we reported way back in January, German techo minimalist Pantha Du Prince was to drop the follow-up to his incredible 2007 breakout album This Bliss late this year. And while Pantha (aka Hendrick Weber) isn't going to hit that deadline, we do have some good news: come early 2010 he will be releasing his third album and via his new label home, Rough Trade.
Yeah, we're a bit surprised by that signing too, but it's good to see the folks of Rough Trade are as big of fans of Pantha Du Prince as we are. Unfortunately, there are no further details on the new as-yet-untitled record, just word that it's coming.
