Since everything he touches takes the indie community by storm, it comes as no surprise that Panda Bear's upcoming third album Tomboy is one of the most anticipated releases of 2010. So far, we know that the album is likely coming out this September, and more recently, the title track was rumoured to be getting a seven-inch single release this summer. We're now happy to confirm that the hearsay is true.

On July 13, Paw Tracks will release the "Tomboy" single backed with the song "Slow Motion." The limited release will be the first in a proposed series of singles from Panda Bear as the world waits for Tomboy to arrive. If you'd like to ruin the surprise, a live version of "Tomboy" is available to stream below.

In addition to the record announcement, Panda Bear has set his sights on a small run dates in the U.S. and Europe. Primarily festival gigs, we're hoping that the album's release will come with a full North American tour.
