If you're looking to find your inner peace, maybe the new view for "Carina Sayles" will help. It's by Palmbomen II, the solo guise of Amsterdam producer Kai Hugo (who also has a full-band project known simply as Palmbomen).
This video for this track begins with a conversation between siblings, and they sit in a car and discuss some major life issues while gorgeous ambient synths drift in the background. After a couple of minutes, a beat enters, and we see our hero performing tai chi (or something similar) at the beach.
Watch it below. We should point out that "Carina Sayles" is named after a minor character from The X-Files.
Palmbomen II's self-titled album comes out on March 3 through Beats in Space Records.
